Hello!
I'm seeking a dog sitter/house sitter to hang out with my 12 year old dog named Freckles.
About the Place:
I live in an older elevator building on a treelined street in Crown Heights. It's a fairly large one-bedroom apartment that has a open concept living room and kitchen and a sizeable bedroom. It boasts and two in one washer/dryer, regular size oven, window air conditioners in both rooms, full bath with tub, a full-size bed and TVs in both rooms. While I don't have cable you will have access to Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Max accounts. The apartment is furnished nicely with items from my travels and has a homey feel. The place does not come with a parking spot but there is free street parking that you can typically find but there is street cleaning twice a week on each side of the road.
About Freckles
Freckles is a laid back 12-year-old American fox hound mix. While his origins are from rural Virginia, he has been a city dog all his life. He's a bit stubborn and very food motivated but over a very low maintenance. He typically gets two walks a day and is fed I the morning and the evening. He’s also fairly quiet and only barks when he wants food or a walk.
About the location:
The apartment is located in the middle of the Crown Heights neighborhood. It’s a less than a 15-minute walk to the A, C, 4, 5, 2 and 3 subway lines and close to many bus stops. Is it s less than a mile to the Brooklyn Museum and Prospect Park and in close proximity to many different grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping. You can be in Washington Square Park in about 35 minutes.
