Our apartment is on the first floor of a two storey house with 3 units for rent downstairs.
It is composed by three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a big kitchen and a very big terrace overlooking a protected area.
The apartment features a fully equipped kitchen with a two door fridge, oven, dishwasher, orthopedic mattresses, ceiling fans in every room, hot water, insect screens on windows/doors and wi-fi.
The master bedroom is equipped with kind bed, a/c and tv.
There's also a swimming pool shared with the guests of the apartments below (which could be rented during your stay).
RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIRED
No particular tasks are required.
We would like to find a responsible, trustworthy and handy individual or couple who will over-see care of our home and garden.
We have a shy cat which you will have to take care of.
Furthermore it's very important to maintain an appropriate and respectful attitude towards the other guests of the rented apartments downstairs.
We need someone taking care of our house, ventilating with fans and opening and closing the windows, maintaining an acceptable cleaning regime to avoid insects and checking that everything is in order in the property.
You will also be required to check the garden and keep it in order and to take out the garbage from the apartments below as well.
Be adept trouble shooters: make sure all is working properly, ask that lights are replaced as needed, etc. and point out any house needs as soon as noticed and report anything that goes amiss to us and property manager.
It is strictly forbidden to invite people inside the property.
We ask to not stay overnight outside our house.
GOOD FEATURES OF THE PROPERTY AND LOCATION
Situated on a half moon bay in the Pacific Ocean, Samara is a long, beautiful beach, considered one of the safest in Costa Rica because of the coral reef that protects it and makes it and ideal place for diving, swimming and water sports. Here you will enjoy a pleasant, sunny climate most months of the year. Our house is located out of the noise of Samara center, in a very quiet place surrounded by nature and, at the same time, few steps from the center, the beach, restaurants and supermarkets.
Here there are many things you can do, depending on how active you want to be: kayaking, snorkeling, surfing, horseback riding, zip lines and canopy tours, quad rentals, bike riding, small plane ride, one/half day tours (dolphin and whale watching, turtle hatching, deep sea or regular fishing, water falls, caves and more), yoga, pilates, gym, jogging...hanging out on the hammok or just watching the sunset!
From Samara you can easily reach Playa Carillo, Playa Izquierda, Playa Buenavista and the stunning Playa Barrigona (not in the rainy season). Furthermore you can go to Ostional Wildlife Reserve, Punta Islita, Barra Honda National Park, Playa Guiones, Playa Pelada and Nosara.
