Do you need a reliable house, garden, plant or pet sitter in a quiet neighborhood within one hour's commute of downtown Boston? I'd love to help!
What I have to offer: I'm a 41-year-old female, clean, quiet, nonsmoking, writer, editor, and actress. I have experience house and pet sitting, and can provide happy references. I am a cat lover, and most cats feel comfortable with me. Other types of pets (e.g. fish, rabbits, rats, hamsters, gerbils, and so on) and I get along well, too. I don't have much experience with dogs, so I tend to be too nervous around them to be much fun. For your house plants, garden, and lawn, I'll follow your instructions to the letter to make sure they're watered, fed, trimmed, and healthy.
What I'm looking for: This April, moved to Boston from the suburbs of Colorado. I have a sublet room in an apartment in the city for the next few months. I have three great roommates, and my home is in an up-and-coming Boston neighborhood half a block away from bars and restaurants. It's hip, it's happening, it's...it's very noisy. It's teaching me that I truly am a suburban girl, and I long to move to a quieter home where I can relax more and sleep well. This fall, I'll be looking for a new, quieter, less urban home—maybe a long-term house sit for you? During the summer, I'm looking for house sits in quieter suburbs of Boston for any length of time. This will give me a break from the noisy rush of my street, and a chance to learn about other cities and neighborhoods in the Boston area. (I work in downtown Boston, so I must stay within about an hour's commute of there, but I have a car, and I like commuter trains, too.) In return, I'll lovingly care for your home, garden, plants, and/or pets as if they were my own.
Does your home need extra loving care? Is it in a quiet neighborhood? Then please get in touch! Maybe we can help each other!
Thanks,
Anita
