Greetings to my new friends as well as to those I may come to know in 2009 I'm 60, well educated, capable, caring and a non-smoker. For the past thirty plus years I've lived and worked in many parts of the U.S.A.,Asia,the Middle East,AND THE UK.
In 2007, your homes and wonderful pets enabled me to complete A memoir. I am now on to book # 2,a comparative analysis our the healthcare system, TO THOSE IN A VARIETY OF COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD. FOR YEARS I WROTE STRATEGIC PLANS FOR CORPORATIONS,advocacy groups I was involved with, as well as some small colleges with whom I had had long relations.
THE CHALLENGE OF A BOOK WAS FORMIDABLE.
For the past couple months I've just been relaxing --catching up with old friends, spending lots of time with my husband and youngest brother, and my two kitties, Punkie and Luci.
I've been making jewelry prompted by 2 housesitS in New Mexico----after 2 women stopped me on 2 separate occasions to ask me where I bought the necklace I was wearing--- they then asked if I would sell it to them, and I did!! Right off my neck.
I made somemore that friends were looking at them and sold those too! I may continue to see where this will lead--it definitely is relaxing and fun.
I write about 4 hours/ day,and bead when the spirit moves me,which gives me plenty of time to carefully look after your home, plants, cats and dogs.
I enjoy a variety of physical settings which I believe encourages creativity.
I've owned 2 homes in the past and own one now, so caring for your home wouldn't be new to me. I love visiting new places and meeting new people--or returning to places where I have vacationed with my husband.
I also come away from all assignments with new skills (I now know how to use a wood burning stove to heat a home, as well as how to keep a very complex underground irrigation system working !)
Hugs and thanks to those of you who entrusted your dearest posessions (your pets) to me in And special thanks to 2 individuals who each called upon me a second time.
And to all who utilize this marvelous , warmest regards to you throughout 2009.
A special thanks to Ian who continues to make this all possible.
Janieben,(... who has more recently HAS been named by some wonderful children in Hawaii- "H E AUNTIE")
