My name is Alyne Rose Keller. I'm a quiet, tidy, non-smoking, responsible 34 year old woman who's been pet, home & garden sitting most of my life, professionally since 2013.
I'm available to love and care for your home and pets (of all kinds) while you're away for any length of time.
Because I don't have a "normal" job, and am working on writing a book and studying human development and psychology online, I can be in the house with your pets most of the time, and my flexibility allows that I can give your home and pets the attention, love, and energy they deserve.
I look forward to meeting you to find out how I can be of help.
*More about this sitter:
Lover of animals of all kinds. I grew up in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains of Northern California where my family always had dogs, cats, and ducks who were my companions and fellow adventurers until I moved abroad at 18 years old .
I've mostly worked in the healing arts field doing massage therapy, Thai bodywork & reflexology, as well as elderly care until committing more solidly to doing pet & house-sitting in 2010 and creating a business when I moved to Seattle in 2013.
I enjoy a quiet, peaceful life full of reading, writing, visiting parks, beaches, practicing yoga, meditating, hiking, dancing, giving foot massage, animal massage, studying health and psychology, travelling, hearing people's life stories, and otherwise enjoying the beauty of wherever I'm currently living.

How long have you been pet-sitting:
Forever! From childhood I naturally began doing pet care for neighbors, friends, and relatives as I always had an affinity for animals and loved helping care for plants and gardens. Over time, my love of this work naturally developed into a small scale business which I've enjoyed over the last few years in varying areas of CA and in Seattle, WA.
*Tell us a story about your love of animals:
What first comes to mind is from my time living in the South Pacific's Kingdom of Tonga, where I moved when I was 18.
As a kid I adopted one of my favorite, most beloved dogs, Strawberry. She'd been abandoned on the side the road where my family discovered her on a long drive to the Strawberry Music Festival in Yosemite National Park. Strawberry was my best friend and companion until I moved to the Kingdom of Tonga . She passed away while I was teaching there and upon hearing the news I was so distraught that I missed a couple days of classes, excusing myself by telling everyone that one of my best friends at home had died.
Dogs aren't usually loved or even befriended in Tonga. Instead families keep them for security purposes and at times dogs are even eaten. I felt the Tongan teachers I worked with wouldn't understand my mourning over my dog, so I failed to mention that this best friend wasn't a person. I explained my situation in a way I thought they could best relate to.
Strawberry was as dear to me as any person in my life, and I felt completely justified in saying that one of my best friends had passed away.
I imagine many of you feel the same way about your beloved pets. They are often our best friends and companions in life.
