I having been exchanging house/pet sitting for lodging for several years. This arrangement suits my needs well and feels much more comfortable and safer than staying in hotels/motels. (As a writer, I could write a book just about those experiences alone!). I found it's a great way to see this great country of ours as well as getting to know the locals and regional culture.
I enjoy the companionship of the faithful canine and consider myself a "Professional" cat lover of all purrsnickity felines as well. (This comes from the experience of having been owned by a dozen or so over my lifetime.) As far as personal habits go, I am a non-smoker, I try to be frugal with the utilities, I don't scratch the furniture, hack up hairballs, or leave my toys scattered around the house. Hopefully your canine doesn't drink from the toilet since I kicked the habit long ago. I excel at putting the lid down and this could create a situation of going "cold turkey" for Bowser. I have no problem sharing a bed with either Fluffy or Bowser as long as they don't mind sharing it with me. Other than that, I generally live as quiet as a mouse... except for those occasions that I burst out in song along with my favorite tunes on the radio .
If my foregoing qualifications goose your interest and sound like they may fit your needs, please take a gander to check my references. You will find that I am personable, very reliable and trustworthy, the homes I have sat for are well-maintained, and pets (and neighbors) are not usually traumatized by my singing. Then, if you feel that you wouldn't be "barking up the wrong tree" and the purr-sonalities of your pets and mine would be a good fit, please send me a message via carrier pigeon (though an would be much quicker).
