Hi, I am a mature female, looking for quiet and beauty. I relocated from Syracuse, where I was a tenured professor, back to NYC. Now I'm again ready to be in a quieter setting and save for my own home in the country.
I attended Mt. Holyoke College and that is why I have the Pioneer Valley as one of my prime choices. I am a longtime Buddhist meditator (primarily Insight Meditation) and certified yoga teacher (part time) since I've taught yoga/mindfulness and practiced shiatsu bodywork in the past. While working as freelance writer, I would love to mind your home and keep it safe.
I feel that the land itself has a spiritual vibration, I love upstate NY, Franklin/Hampshire or Berkshire Counties in Mass or Central Mass,or southern Vermont. I lived in the "Happy Valley" in Mass for several years which I started by housesitting in one of the charming HIlltowns.
References available. During the huge ice storm a few years ago (in New England) I did not abandon my clients home despite week of no phone, electric or running water, only wood stove for heat. Luckily the stove was gas which could be lit and her pipes did not freeze as I stayed (and the house was kept warm enough).
I no longer have my own car after moving to NYC I sold it.
