We are a professional married couple with a college-aged daughter. Bill is a project manager for a MN-based software company and Kristin is a consultant for non-profit organizations and networks in North America and Europe. We have flexible, work-from-home schedules, thus we are free to travel when we want but need reliable internet access. 

We used the Housecarer platform extensively twelve years ago when we took an 18 month sabbatical, homeschooled our daughter and traveled the Middle East, Europe, and Canada. We are still in contact with some of those families.

We are homeowners--we are currently in our third home--and have lots of experience fixing up and maintaining a home. We have a large garden and would enjoy taking care of yours.

We love animals. Kristin grew up on a farm with cows and horses. We have had many pets in the past, including dogs, hamster, and fish. We just had to say goodbye to our most recent dog, Delilah Blue–our beloved rescue Boxer, a few months ago.

We are looking for new communities to explore, arts and cultures to connect with, and places to get outside and be active. Ideally, we are looking for stays of at least 2-3 weeks. We have uploaded a few photos so you can see us and some of our hobbies.  

We are happy to connect and meet over Zoom to ensure a good fit and for you to feel confident that your home and animals are in good care.

Kristin and Bill were extraordinary house/cat sitters. They arrived when they said they would. They were very respectful of our home. They took great care of our cat. Bill and Kristen did a superb job of wrangling one big dog and 2 affectionate cats.  Darwin the dog, I do believe, now prefers them over me, but oh well.  They drove here in their own car, and the house was certainly in better shape than when I left.  Flowers everywhere.  I was equally impressed that they got to know Albuquerque quite well by researching and going to new places -- i.e. an art walk of all the murals here!

It is so nice to have good and trust-worthy people there to take care of beloved animals and do a fine job of maintaining a house!
