We are a retired professional couple (General Manager of a Community Support Agency which supported people with a disAbility and Primary Teacher). We are responsible, reliable and caring and go the extra mile to tend to your place (and ours).
Our permanent address was Glass House Mts in Qld where we lived on twelve acres (and have lived on larger acreage) and had restored/renovated our big old home. We recently sold it and have now purchased a home in Landsborough on two and a half acres. We both had farming childhoods so are quite used to managing animals and acreage. We have had pet birds, chickens, fish, sheep, dogs, cats, horses and cattle in the past.
Because of the nature of our work, during our working lives we both held yellow cards (crimiunal history check) and blue cards (working with children). Bill is a Justice of the Peace which covers the police check and Mary Anne is a volunteer with children so blue card is current.
We have several housesit references so please check these out if you are interested in us as potential housesitters. Our recent house sits include a sheep farm in Victoria in late September 2017, where we fed orphan lambs and watched over pigs and piglets, hens and a rooster, working dogs and a cat, an apartment on Buderim at the Sunshine Coast and a house with Rottweiler and two cats on the Bellarine Peninsular in Victoria. We have also completed two house sits at our previous home for the new owner.
In August 2018 and again in April 2019, we were in Malaysia kitten sitting in a condo in Petaling Jaya and are currently house sitting in Perth. We are not available for house sits from October to early January.
