We are an active, non smoking couple who have always had pets. We love all animals and have kept everything from horses, dogs, cats, snakes, turtles, rats, chickens, birds, goats, cows....and the list goes on!
We are long term experienced housesitters having been sitting for the last ten years.
We are early retirees being forty three and forty nine but were very fortunate to have invested in real estate at the right time. This has enabled us to be comfortably self funded.
We currently live on just over a hundred acres in the Border Ranges in northern NSW, Australia so are used to a bit of isolation, but very much enjoy the pace of an inner city lifestyle or popping the tinny in the water at a seaside/riverside address.
Housesitting is a way for us to experience places we've never been, or places we have been and wanted to come back! Because of our circumstances we are able to be flexible with dates and durations of house sits (when unexpected delays or changes arise). We have a lot of experience in the garden and at our last house created a beautiful fruit orchard based on permaculture principles.
After years of property management we are well equipped to deal with small maintenance issues as they arise and anything more serious will promptly contact the owner for direction.
For your peace of mind, we both have Federal Criminal History checks available for viewing and a number of references. I am happy to these to you upon your enquiry.
We will take care of your home and your pets as though they were our own and they will be our number one priority. And please be assured that once we book a sit we are locked in - we have never let anyone down.
