We are an active, healthy, professional retired married couple and non smokers. We would love to house-sit in Dublin's southern suburbs anytime between mid August and early October this year. We are experienced house-sitters being active members since 2011 as wellas previously owning many different pets in our family home. We offer a fully reliable, trustworthy, very high standard of care for your pet/s, and home & garden.
A house-sit opportunity would provide an enjoyable, purposeful and more affordable way to be able to stay longer in Dublin this visit. I grew up in Monkstown and completed all my schooling in 1968 at the local Sacred Heart Convent. After migrating to Melbourne, Australia with my parents and sisters in 1969, I returned to Dublin with my Aussie husband in 1975. Following a long family-raising gap, we returned to Ireland 3 times between 2008 and 2014 renewing ties with family & classmates. We have kept in contact since then.
We can provide numerous, current house-sitting Australian referees & references and a Dublin-based character referee who is a recently semi-retired Associate Professor at Trinity College Dublin. We always undertake to meet all your house-sit wishes & expectations, offering assured peace of mind and respecting your privacy & trust. We see pets as much loved family members with full responsibility for all their needs, including regular exercise, affection and play as appropriate. We see your home & garden as a much loved asset requiring the same high levels of care, security, cleaning & management as our own family home in inner Melbourne.
We hope you will seriously consider us & message us with your preferred contact details to begin talking using whatever suits best for ongoing communication and to forward all our referee contacts. If you wish to reach a mutually agreed committment with us, we would book our plane tickets to be able to visit you at your convenience before the house-sit starts and handover at the end date. We will also have a car for maximum mobility.
Sincerest warm wishes
Anne (nee O'Connell) & Neil House
