Strawbale house on 11 acres near the town of Lancefield, about 70ks north west of Melbourne.
We've spent the last few years building and almost completing our little strawbale house.
The house has two bedrooms, one bathroom and a large open north facing living area witha wood heater. Granite/timber kitchen with an induction cook top and a Thermomix. We kind of like it.
We've got two active and bouncy Boxer dogs that need someone to look after them while we galavant around the United States.
Along with the two dogs, are four cats and four horses.
The dogs, Vinnie and Vera need lots of attention and a feed now and again plus a run around the paddocks every day. Our cats will let you know when they would like a chin/belly rub. They are mostly content with mooching around the house and keeping the sofas warm. The horses will have their hay rounds set up so there will be minimal if any feeding out. The horses are partial to the occasional carrot.
There's not much else to do except enjoy.
