Hello,
I am a widow who now lives more "carpe diem" than "corporate dictum". Before I retired I was involved in real estate, both residential and commercial. I hold accreditations as a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), but ended my career with my own firm as an Owner/Broker, helping clients with leasing, buying and selling owner/user office product.
My hobbies are gardening and all kinds of manual crafts like knitting, sewing and ceramics, with a Major in doing my own home fix-up! If you have something you want to be completed in the way of a project, I can help you deal with vendors and contractors while you're gone and you come home to a completed project. I have owned almost every kind of pet there is and love them all.... just let me know the particulars and you're off. I grew up with every imaginable animal in my household, including a black snake. I love cats and dogs, but little guys and birds, I had a conure, are on my list too like rats and guinea pigs!
My late husband was a Rotarian, local museum director (Heard Museum), and Native Peoples magazine founder/owner. I know what it's like to be in business for yourself. My own brokerage business is still active. I have traveled the world, but wish to do more, and house sitting allows that. I hope you'll get in touch so I can help give you a sense of surety and security on your leave from home. I have had several security clearances over the years (Phoenix Airport and Arizona VA Hospital volunteer), and being a broker in Arizona requires a clean background with no felonies. I am Pre-TSA and Global Entry screened for foreign travel. I was married twice, both of whom were military officers, Navy pilot and Army Captain tank commander and I've been a member of USAA for 45 years.
I am a cheerful, independent, conservative, and responsible person that would be the perfect candidate to manage your house, pets and gardens in your absence. I'm a near expert on property fix-up and repair and I can project manage your repairs while you're gone if this is a thought. Being a Sr. ManagerOwner I've handled staff, vendors and tenants most of my career. I have a strong sense of right and wrong and a friendly personality to make it all work.
I am qualified to care for your local properties and animals, or travel and sit for non-resident owners almost anywhere in the world with at least a one month notice. I love Mexico and speak a little Spanish, I would like to visit Australia and New Zealand, I'm open to western Europe and South America. I prefer ocean locations and warmth but will consider all suggestions.
Thank you for considering me and my qualifications. Please ask me anything! (If you want a couple I have qualified friends that can join me at times!)
