We are a couple in our late twenties looking to house sit as an alternative to paying rent. We have just returned from living in Asia and want to try something new. We have both house/pet sat many times for neighbors, family, and friends and have always enjoyed it. We love animals especially dogs. We grew up with German Shepard mixes, English setters (including breeding them) Springer Spaniels and a few mutts/rescue pets in addition to various house cats and goldfish. We also grew up with horses, goats and chickens. We live by the notion that a pet is a part of the family and treat them as such. We also prefer to be home rather than go out so whatever pet(s) you have he/she will get lots of attention. We are flexible and willing to go just about anywhere. I am slightly allergic to cats and cannot take care of more than one cat in a small place and probably shouldn't sleep with a cat even though I wish I could. It's a curse.
