The most important thing I can bring to you as a homeowner is peace of mind.
Reliable. Responsible. Resourceful. Respectful. That's me.
I will tickle and hug your pets, talk to and water your plants, weed and feed your gardens, respect and appreciate your home.
I specialize in long-term sits (a month or more), but I also do shorter term when possible, so please ask me!
I am impeccably CLEAN, neat, and very organized. In fact, if you have something you need sorted or organized while you are away I am open to discussing those possibilities; small or large projects welcome - from libraries and garages to attics and kitchen cabinets.
I adore animals and believe in treating them with the care and compassion I would a family member (after all that's what they are). Truly, I have never met an animal I didn't LOVE, and they are usually pretty fond of me as well!
I enjoy gardens and the outdoors, and yes, I am one of those people who finds weeding therapeutic.
I have no problem being alone or in ‘off-the-grid’ locations, and enjoy interesting architecture, simply as an appreciative layman. Whether you live in a cottage in the forest, a condo in a skyscraper, a castle on the moors, or a single-story house on a cul de sac, I would be happy to care for your home.
For over twenty years I have been in the professional arena. For the last several years I have also been an editor and non-fiction freelance writer— although my true interest is fiction.
I am ready for new experiences, for a chance to see different places from various perspectives, and to spend a lot more time writing. I look forward to being able to do this while freeing up the opportunity for you to handle your responsibilities and accomplish your goals - by keeping your pets and property safe, and your home fires burning.
Please review my references. Once you have, I hope I will hear from you.
I am flexible, here to help, and likely the very house sitter you are looking for to ensure your peace of mind while you are away from home.
