We live near the CBD of Brisbane (Queensland, Australia) and we are adventurous, self-funded retirees who are determined to enjoy as much of this world as possible.
I am a retired police officer and still an active member of the International Police Association. In December 2013 I retired as a director of a small but profitable training and consulting company conducting business across Australia and Papua New Guinea. We are both experienced travellers who do not enjoy walking behind a tour guide holding a little flag (Read: We like to do our own thing). Extremely house proud, we have experience at home exchanges and home sitting and we are committed to treating and respecting your home as if it is ours.
We are both volunteer Brisbane Greeters (see brisbanegreeters on the web). Brisbane Greeters is an ambassador service that welcomes and connects visitors, locals and new residents to Brisbane, Australia. Greeters conduct short walking/public transportation orientation experiences based on special interests and places around the city.
Reliable, non-smoking, pet loving, house carers – That’s us.
