I am a single retired lady who has already enjoyed housesitting and pet sitting experiences in some beautiful Vancouver homes, as well as in Oak Bay, Victoria, in Qualicum Beach, on Mayne Island, and in various lovely locations all along the Sunshine Coast.
As a long time property owner myself, I have a background of maintaining large family homes and gardens. I have cared for both dogs and cats ( plus a hedgehog ) and I am very fond of our four legged friends.
As my various personal references will confirm, I am very self sufficient, ethical, trustworthy and competent. I can be relied upon to properly care for pets, homes, and plants, to clean, to provide security, and to deal with any emergencies. I am physically capable of various gardening tasks and long dog walks. I am familiar with alarm / security systems, and also insurance issues. I respect valuable furnishings, fine carpets, antiques, as well as personal effects. I live quietly, and I am a non-smoker.
