In general my work is a diverse mix that includes consulting services focused on strategic planning, fund raising and the direction of related projects. These assignments are rotated with writer/artist stints, as the flow allows.
For the past few years I have been based in Port Townsend, WA, working as the Executive Director of Jefferson County's Community Health Improvement Plan. I am now focused on directing a $1M grant my program was awarded in Sept 2020. The pandemic has had the odd benefit of my being able to do my work from remote locations - and I've happily done this in Santa Fe most recently.
A bit of background: After being a long-time homeowner in Washington state I moved to Northern California while my son did his undergraduate work at Stanford. In the years since then I have alternated between longer term "real jobs", and house/pet-sitting in beautiful locations.
The past 10 years have included several short and long term home/pet sitting situations up and down the West Coast. The ideal situation always includes the openness for a partner to stay with me at your space, and I appreciate the homeowner's openness to that possibility on the assignments I take.
