We are an active non-smoking retired couple just turned 70, who after years of caravanning now enjoy house sitting. I was an Australia Post Manager and my husband is a retired teacher, having previously served 22 years in the defence forces.
We have loved and maintained our own homes to a high standard during our 50 years of marriage and will care for your home as our own. We would be pleased to care for pets if required. We have enjoyed our pets over many years although we don't have any currently.
We have been holidaying in Queensland for more than 14 years now, both caravanning and house sitting. During these times we have been active in the community through vollunteering, lawn bowls and other interests including art and quilting. We have very good references from all the house sits we have done.
My husband was raised on farms and we both enjoy the outdoor life. We have some experience house-sitting on acreage.
Being keen Victorian lawn bowlers, our prefered non-bowling months for housesitting are May to September each year, ideally in Queensland. We look forward to the opportunity to take care of your home and pets, while you have a well earned break.
