Originally from Australia, I have been traveling since June 2014, living in Thailand, Canada, USA, Mexico, Egypt and now back to Mexico. I have visited other countries along the way and hope to visit many more. A highlight for me is meeting new people on my travels, through housesitting I have made some wonderful friends - both animal and human! Before setting off on my journey around the world I used to work as an Executive Assistant in the Media field. I now am in the process of opening my own business online. I speak good conversational Spanish as I attend classes when I am in Mexico. I would like to housesit in France, so I am studying French on Duolingo with the aim to take lessons soon.
I love to travel the world and I hope that housesitting can be a bridge for me to help you travel, whilst I get to experience life in your part of the world. I love having the company of animals and for me it is an absolute privilege having people entrust me to look after their house and loved ones. Housesitting helps me keep my costs down on accommodation when I'm traveling, and being in a home environment rather than a hotel is much nicer for long term travel.
I have extensive experience looking after dogs and cats through petsitting and volunteering. I have previously spent four months in Thailand volunteering full-time at a dog shelter with subsequent returns over the last couple of years. My main duties were walking, socializing, giving basic medical treatment, feeding and bathing the dogs. There were over 300 there, so it was always busy. I have always owned pets whilst growing up and into my adult life, both cats and dogs. I grew up in the country, so was also around farm animals. I have had to administer medication to some of my animals I have been sitting for in the past, I have also had to take animals to the vet for treatment. I am not afraid to get in and get dirty when it comes to animals, I understand they can make mess at times and I always aim to ensure your house and pet's environment is keep clean and tidy.

I have flexible and easy going attitude with the ability to quickly adapt to new environments. I am responsible, trustworthy, independent and can think on my feet and problem-solve. I keep a quiet, clean environment and treat other people's home and possessions with respect and privacy. But above all, lots of love and care for your pets.
I try to live like a local as much as possible when I travel and experience life away from the tourist areas. I am mainly working online and can spend most of my time at home with your pets. I am a homebody and feel very comfortable being on my own.
