Are you traveling through Texas either in August or September? If you love the quiet of the country, arabian horses, standard poodle and our two barn duty cats, you'll love our beautiful gated home on 7+ white fenced acres. We are located in a quiet country sub division of similar homes close to shopping approximately 30 minutes from downtown Austin. Our travel plans are flexible either toward the end of August or any time in September. Your availability (and experience) will help determine the scheduling of airfare and accommodations. Our horses are on pasture during the day. Their schedule and care is exceptionally easy, but specific, because like us, they have routines and expectations. They have free access to and from the pasture and their stalls during the day and kept in at night. This routine changes during the hot summer months where they graze during the cooler night time and get relief in the shade of their stalls and fans during the heat of the day. Our poodles are extremely easy going and obedient. They love going out anytime you do, love to follow us to and from the barn, are perfect reading companions, and ask for nothing. The cats have the run of the place at their leisure, but we put them in the climate controlled tack room at night for their protection and our ease of mind. Closing stall doors and gates behind your comings and goings to the barn is critical to everything running smoothly... Feed schedules and routines will be clearly written and shared with you, with veterinarians contact numbers. The barn and all essential tools and grooming supplies are very well planned and organized for ease of use. We have fast wifi, time warner cable with movie channel access, very nice furnishings, stainless steel appliances and a granite kitchen. Flowers may need watering... but not much else will need tending outside.
