My roots are in New Hampshire but I am a traveler at heart and am seeking to help you take care of your pet(s) and your home. I enjoy being outdoors and am very handy. I am available for mid to long term sits throughout the USA.
I would be happy to house sit for you whether you have animals or not. You will be in great hands! You may go away feeling very relaxed and confident that your beloved animals and house will be well looked after. You shall return to first class care and well tended gardens and lawn (if you have these), a pristine home and happy pets.
I work from home so this is a bonus of added security, as long as you have internet service.
I specialize in "relief management" for those who run an Air BnB, Home Away, or own a Motel and need someone knowledgeable to manage your property.
I had owned a home in southern NH, which I sold recently in order to house sit, and still own a camper in Southern NH and a hunting cabin in a remote area of northern NH. I know how much love, time, money and energy is put into owning a home. Yours will be treat with the same respect. I am an avid recycler and try to make the least footprint on this earth I can.
I used to rent a room in my home on Air Bnb and would be happy to provide you references. I earned the coveted Super Star rating which is a beyond 5 star, it means I went above and beyond for my guests. This is how I believe in doing all my endeavors.
Why I want to house sit
I am a traveler at heart. I also know what it's like to not be able to leave your home because of your loved pets. House sitting provides me with filling up my "Wish Bucket" on wonderful places, pets and people I wish to meet. I have been a travel agent since 1990.
What I bring to the assignment / relevant experience
Loving animals is what I do best! I grew up with Labrador retrievers, my father was a breeder and at times they had over 20 dogs including puppies! I've also owned other breeds of dogs (Pointer, Doberman, Chesapeake Bay Retreiver, and a Samoyed) plus many cats, domestic, barn and feral. I am is a huge cat lover.
I raised and showed horses, mostly Palomino Quarter Horses and miss being around them. I've had a pet goat and chickens and was raised on a small farm which had hogs and a couple of cows and horses. I've has raised rodents such as gerbils, guinea pigs, rats and chinchillas and owned birds such as parakeets, finches and a cockatiel. I actually likes reptiles, amphibians, and snakes (non- venomous), moving them when mowing the lawn.
Having owned many homes I have excellent house maintenance/gardening skills such as handywoman skills and enjoy doing minor repairs, lawn mowing, cutting and splitting wood, pruning, painting. I am very experienced with clearing snow from driveways and paths using large machinery such as snow plows, roof rakes and snow blowers along with shovels. I enjoy organic gardening and will keep your garden in tip top shape, being a hard worker.
I possess great computer skills, having spent many of my work hours on them and along with the understanding of technology; I can keep in touch with owners via all means. You will get regular updates and correspondence to about your pet(s) and home.
