Hello,
We are a French couple in our early 50s, both teachers in the same high school, Marc teaches construction design and I teach English as a second language. I’ve had numerous extended stays abroad (about 5 years all together, UK, Ireland, USA) my last experience was a teaching exchange position on a Fulbright in California.
We live in Guadeloupe, FWI an Island in the caribbean, which ranked for places to Go in 2016 by New York Times. We love it here, but we also love discovering new places, specially urban or sub-urban destinations. We think that home sitting is the best way to meet great open minded people and experience new environments and communities.
We are both home owners so we know what it takes to care for a house, we don’t have pets at the moment, the cat went missing when we came back from our vacation, the neighbor fed her, but that was not enough. Don’t worry this won’t happen to you, we’ll be home to give your pets TLC .
Marc is a great Jack of all trades, really handy man, he designed and built the swimming pool, of course, does the maintenance and repairs ! His next project is to build a redwood deck around the pool. As for me, I love, reading, arts, movies, pottery, vegan and vegetarian cuisine, aqua gym. I am a very quiet person.We both enjoy cooking, gardening, watching movies, hiking, swimming, listening to music and above all traveling. We are tidy, easy going people, non smoking, no drugs and are in good health.
