We are Louise and Robert, both mature professionals and we would be honored to take care of your home and your "kids" while you are away.
We understand the delicacies of choosing the right people for both and we believe that our experiences and unique skill sets as home owners/managers, animal lovers and world travellers will speak for themselves and so we'll do our best to refrain from using adjectives to quantify us.
We have owned and managed 6 vacation rental properties over the past 14 years and are well versed in the daily nuances and attention that individual properties entail. We enjoy the responsibility of caring for pets, homes and gardens and relish in the love we receive in return. We have raised our own pets with patience and kindness, the same attributes that we will share with yours and we are happy to share this with you electronically as often as you wish while you are away.
Bob has 25 years as a Mountain/Heli Ski Guide with extensive knowledge in mountain rescue and wilderness medical training. We are experienced with "special needs" animals as Louise has 9 years as a veterinary tech prior to becoming a registered nurse and exercise physiologist. She also worked on a horse and cattle farm for years and neither of us are afraid of putting in the hours needed to care for your pets and/or your home. Being pet "parents", together we cared for our own dog who required post surgical care, multiple daily medications/injections and cancer "hospice" care during the last years of her life.
We volunteer at a local animal shelter and a local horse rescue, walking dogs, playing with cats, training and riding horses and basically just sharing the love. Louise has also been involved with animal rescue organizations in San Jose and Troncoes Mexico, volunteering as a veterinary assistant and working at fundraising events.
We have travelled extensively around the world and are happy to leave our culture behind in order to fully experience the country we are travelling in.
