Hi,
My name is Deron. In 2014, I threw away tradition, let my apartment rental contract run out, threw my belongings in storage, and have lived a life of travel around the world, mostly residing in vacations rentals and hotels.
I have spent time in Australia and Europe mainly, periodically returning to the States to see friends and family. Of course, Covid times has restricted my travels some; but, it appears the world is starting to return to some sense of (new) normalcy, which is fantastic!
To date, I have had more than 8 successful house sits in Australia: Sydney x4, Melbourne x3, Albury x1. And, multiple house sits in the USA (not necessarily listed on this profile)
In return for accommodation, I am a very clean and organized individual (my mum taught me well) who does chores regularly and washes dishes immediately after a meal.
I prefer to stay clean rather than have a mess to clean up later. I LOVE pets of all kinds (mostly, cats and dogs) and am just as willing to do work outside as inside.
I work from home, so my life and my schedule is VERY flexible, and I can accomodate any required schedule(s) needed for pet feeding, errands, yard / house work, or otherwise.
I'm also a quick learner and have a wide variety of skills -- if there's something I need to learn in order to take care of your house, I will certainly do so (and, efficiently).
In the U.S., I have a known traveller number (s:// which means I've submitted my background check to the U.S. Government for travel purposes.
I also hold both a valid U.S. drivers license and regularly rent cars (in case this is necessary for house / pet care). I have driven on both sides of the road through my international travel.
