We have rented out our beautiful home in San Francisco so we can explore the world. We are animal lovers, travelers, and healthcare workers. Ken is also a handyman type and we both love to garden. We want to immerse ourselves in new communities and sometimes, as a bonus, have animals to hug and care for along the way. While we don't have experience with horses, chickens or other livestock, we are more than willing to learn. Our passions include snorkeling, photography, exploring and making a positive difference in people's and animal's lives.
We have had a variety of pets and also fostered many dogs for Muttville , who specialize in rescuing senior dogs. Theresa has also worked with 2 gorillas - Ndume and Koko at The Gorilla Foundation. Theresa is a registered nurse who works at San Francisco General Hospital. She also has a degree in education and in animal behavior. Ken is both an x-ray tech and a phlebotomist but has spent the past few years working on our house to get it ready to rent. He also has 20 years experience as a fine art printer. We have both worked as volunteers at zoos. Ken specialized in insects and Theresa specialized in reptiles and amphibians. At home, we live in a great neighborhood where we all take care of each other's pets and houses as needed. As a couple we get along amazingly well thanks to having a great sense of humor and a shared dream. We make an incredible team.
