I am an active single woman in my late 50s with European background, a former long-time San Franicsco Bay Area resident. I am very responsible, keep a beautiful home environment and have house- and pet-sitting experience with the most loving pets and the most exclusive homes.
Since I currently do not have any pets of my own (my last kitty lived out his long life about three years ago), I occasionally pet- and house-sit to enjoy the sweet company of cats and dogs again.
I am very familiar with Sonoma County north of San Francisco and lived for many years in Sonoma, Kenwood, Santa Rosa, Bodega Bay, and also Tomales and Dillon Beach in Marin. But I would also enjoy pet-sitting in the central and southern CA regions, as long as the location is within reasonable distance to the coast.
I would love to care for your home and pet(s) while you are on vacation or out of town for a longer period of time. My preferred months for doing so are July through September as they are brutally hot months here in beautiful Tucson, Arizona where I moved three years ago. I am also available for short periods of time during other months and the holidays.
I work from home as a bookkeeper and can set up my computer just about anywhere as long as there is internet service. My long-time employer is actually located in the Sonoma wine country. I am also a gallery represented wire artist, a medium I can take with me wherever I go as it does not create any messes or need much space. Whenever I can I work outside as I love to breathe fresh air. I am an avid gardener with decades of experience when it comes to plants.
