Hi! We are Felicity and Ben, a couple in our late twenties currently living in Brighton, England. We are graphic designer's looking for some extra time to spend on our freelance careers. We both grew up and met each other in the rural West Midlands and have been together for nearly 9 years.
We consider ourselves to be mature, reliable and friendly individuals who love exploring new surroundings, appreciating different cultures and environments, meeting new people and we both care very much for animals.
House sitting will provide us with a fantastic opportunity to not only travel but to experience living like a local within a new location, which appeals to us very much so!
We are both looking to concentrate on our freelance graphic/web design careers, and so we have decided that a house sitting opportunity would be perfect for us to be able to achieve this. We would be able to commit ourselves to living and looking after your house (and pets) 24/7, whilst having the time to work on our projects.
Although we are new to house sitting we have lived in private rentals together for many years. During this time we have become very domesticated and have shown as much respect as possible to every home that we have lived in, as if it were our own.
As similar to house sitting, we have experience of being guests in Air B&B accommodation, for which we can provide a very positive reference from. We can both provide police checks for your own peace of mind.
If you have animals which need to be looked after during our stay, then this is no problem, in fact it would be a treat for us! We have both grown up with animals, Felicity more so cats and Ben more so dogs, and have experience of looking after other types of animals for friends in the past. Also, we have experience of volunteering at a local dog rescue centre, helping with walking and socialising with the dogs - so we are used to being around a variety of dogs.
We can offer complete peace of mind that your home and your pet is being looked after by people who genuinely care. We are both very clean and tidy. We are both up for mucking in and helping with any tasks that needs doing around your property. Ben is great with home maintenance and loves looking after gardens and making sure plants are kept alive.
