I have owned my own homes for 45 years. I have built two of those homes as an owner builder from stone and strawbale and have done extensions on a couple of others I have owned. I have lived in two homes with stand alone power systems for the past 14 years so have a great understanding of the requirements of such a system..I have extensive knowledge of organic, biodynamic and permaculture systems of growing fruit and vegetables and have propagated many of my own native and fruit trees as well as vegetable seedlings.
My work experience includes gardening and handyman experience, clerical, meat inspection and my own business in alternative health for 15 years. plus other. I currently work two days a week at Green harvest organic seed suppliers to bolster my pension .
I will shortly be retiring. At the age of 68 I am extremely fit . I run most days, am into yoga etc.
I am married . My wife has her own alternative healthcare business. I have lived on entirely raw food for 22 years and my wife almost raw for 7 years. We are nonsmokers, dont touch any alcohol or recreational drugs.
We are prepared to look after any animals, dogs chooks ducks cattle etc. We do have a very small older housetrained dog who would need to remain with us where ever we may be requested to housesit.
I have done a couple of very short house sit stints a few years ago as well as 12 months caretaking a rural property in Obi Obi Qld 9 years ago. I will have references and a police clearances soon . looking forward to hearing from you.
