We, Flora (36) and Edwin (43), are an energetic, trustworthy and extremely responsible couple that have taken some time off from our hospitality-business to share some time together as a family.
We developed, owned and managed a succesful boutique hotel in Costa Rica that we have now sold. Following the birth of our extremely well-behaved baby boy, who is now 8 months old, we decided to take some time off before starting a new hotel development. Doing nothing however, is not in our blood - and housesitting long-term will bring us the excitement of a new environment combined with the responsibilty of a caretaker, something that comes completely natural to us.
We own a historical canal house in the Netherlands and an apartment in Panama. As house-owners, but most definitely as hoteliers and developers, we can take care of almost any challenge a housesitting job can throw at us, including potential additional holiday rental tasks.
We have general maintenance and DIY skills, experience with pool maintenance and a profound love for gardening. We have a keen eye for detail and a passion for hospitality. We are self-proclaimed neat freaks.
We have our own car, we don't smoke and we both speak English, Dutch, German, Spanish and basic French.
After a long-term assignment on Grand Cayman, taking care of a luxury beach home with tropical garden, we are now on an assignment in a French farmhouse in the South of France until June 2017.
We will take care of your property as if it was our own.
