Hi!
We are looking for a dog sitter (couple or single) for 11 weeks from 16th June - 1st September 2017 to walk and feed our two small Caribbean pot hounds - Gremlin and Loopy. References required.
Grenada is a gorgeous Caribbean island located south of St. Vincent & the Grenadines and north of Trinidad & Tobago. It is an exceptionally safe and friendly island in my experience living/working for over 10 years in this region.
Woburn is on the south coast of Grenada and a friendly, traditional fishing villlage with a bakery, small grocery shops, a few restaurants and local rum shops. There are regular buses to St. George's town during the daytime, although renting a vehicle is recommended during your stay.
Our clean and modern apartment is located within a safe and friendly larger property. There is a family living upstairs and a number of other residents living in surrounding cottages on the well-tended grounds. There is a gardener who tends the property regularly so no exterior upkeep is required. There is a hired property manager available to contact for emergencies.
The apartment has one bedroom with a king size bed and ensuite shower room. The kitchen and lounge are separate rooms with another bathroom that also has a shower. Gas cooker, fridge/freezer, standard white goods, cutlery, crockery, pans etc provided. There are mosquito screens on all windows and doors. Fans are placed in the bedroom and lounge. Air con is available in the bedroom and lounge. The garden is fenced in to secure the dogs, although there is a larger secure garden/area surrounding that too. The apartment has good WiFi connection but no TV. No smoking is allowed inside the apartment.
The dogs require food (supplied) in the morning and evening and walking once a day for around an hour (or two shorter walks). During the walks please keep the dogs on the lead at all times. They need to be bathed once a week with the outdoor hose and shampoo (supplied). During the daytime they can be left unattended in the secure garden. At night they need to be kept inside. Water needs to be available at all times whether inside or out. Every 4 weeks a flea/tic preventer needs to be put on them (supplied).
We look forward to welcoming you to our Caribbean paradise!
