I live in bushland close to Toowoomba Qld with my husband (of 40 years). Wallabies, possums, brush turkeys, goannas and other wildlife, are our companions. When we were young my husband was known as 'the wildlife man' and we have cared for a wallaroo, who grew to adulthood and finally went to live in a wildlife sanctuary. We have also cared for injured animals including an owl and a fox. We have had two dogs of our own.
I retired from teaching ten years ago and now enjoy voluntary work, reading, music and gardening. House sitting has always been a win-win situation with me and I look forward to further opportunities to care for people's homes and pets during my visits to Canberra.
