I am a 36 year old professional, single female born and raised in the Metro Vancouver area. I am completing a temporary employment contract in Downtown Vancouver, which terminates on January 31, 2019, at which time I will likely relocate to Vancouver Island or Calgary, Alberta.
I am interested in short term house sits in the Calgary area, or in/around Victoria, BC. I have previous housesitting experience (I have completed several housesits in large homes with pet and lawn care resposibilities).
I am available for housesitting assignments as of the beginning of February 2019, and will be updating my calendar (linked to this profile) if and when my availability changes.
I LOVE animals, have experience with all kinds ranging from livestock, to your basic four legged fur balls. I'm also quite adept at administering medications and have a special knack with cats. I love birds/wildlife, and am also happy to keep your outdoor critters well fed (hummingbird feeders/wild bird feeders, etc.).
I would respect your home as my own. I do not smoke, nor do I drink. I live a pretty clean, quiet life. I would mostly be spending my time reading, keeping your home (and pets) well looked after, and enjoying the beautiful summer.
Formerly, a licensed strata manager (property manager), I am more than capable of maintaining your home, keeping a watchful eye, and addressing any issues that may arise. I am quite handy, and will promptly report any issues that may need resolution. Furthermore, if you have any routine scheduled maintenance on your home (gardeners, various scheduled repairs, etc.), I am more than happy to act as your liaison and ensure that the work is performed as you would expect.
I would also like to add that I am more than happy to give you daily, weekly, bi-weekly updates (or simply at your request) of your home/pet complete with photographs or videos, to give you peace of mind that your home and your loved pets are being lovingly cared for.
I can provide a criminal record check, proof of prior employment history, personal references, etc.
