I am a retired professional single woman, whose trustworthy, responsible, respectful, adaptable, clean and organised. I have no dependants, a non-smoker and drinker, with a clean police record, together with the freedom to travel.
Remaining healthy and in good physical condition, with a sense of wellbeing is a daily practice I follow. I believe energy is more important than age, and whilst in my early 60’s, I feel more akin to being in my 40’s.
I was raised on a large acreage property in Australia and therefore have many year's experience caring for, and being surrounded by dogs and farming animals. Due to my upbringing, I obtained a love and respect for all animals from an early age.
In later years, I developed a substantial property which was self-sustainable, and home to many animals and birds.
Recently I house-sat for six months in Vietnam for Australian owners. This was my first house-sit and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Having regularly travelled overseas during vacations, house-sitting offers a whole new opportunity to explore our wonderful world. Particularly, I’m drawn in the direction of opportunities to immerse in diverse cultures and traditions.
Three years ago, I chose a very different career path and studied to become a TESOL Teacher (teaching English to speakers of other languages) which offered the opportunity to travel and work abroad. During this time, I worked in south east Asia.
Prior to undertaking the TESOL course, I owned and managed a successful B&B property, catering to the executive market. A very high level of cleanliness and professionalism was always adhered to. Previously, I spent many years in corporate executive management for a national Australian company.
I am willing to keep in touch during house-sits in providing regular photos and updates of pets and homes, thereby alleviating any concerns, and ensuring peace of mind to owners.
