I am a cheerful, independent, non-smoking and responsible single person that would be the perfect candidate to care for your house, pets and gardens in your absence.
I recently was displaced from my apartment due to a flood, and currently residing with family. Since I am leaving for Asia for several months beginning in November, I am hoping to find a temporary living situation, rather than signing a lease. I plan to house sit while I am abroad and am using this time to seek opportunities to collect more references as well.
I am experienced at caring for homes, pets, and gardens and have had previous experience house and pet sitting. I also have been active in the Couchsurfing community for the last five years, both as a guest when traveling, and as a host when home. In addition, from time to time, I've listed my former apartment on Air bnb. I know what it is to open one's home to guests, and I am always respectful, courteous, clean, and quiet.
I love animals and relish the opportunity to spend time with and care for them. I am handy around the house, and as a Horticulturist, my gardening skills are top notch.
