An Irishman, an Englishwoman and a French Bulldog are available to sit houses and mind animals for more than six months. All of us are non-smokers well beyond our partying days. We're open to any European location (including Ireland) beyond the United Kingdom.
In April Kat will finish her PhD and around this time David will submit his second novel. As a couple in our mid-thirties, we saw this as the perfect opportunity to have an adventure that could help us decide how/where we want to live the next stage of our life. We currently live in Kat's hometown of London, where we met as MA students in 2010, and own our own home so well understand the preciousness of yours.
David has five years of experience professionally caretaking properties and holds an SIA security licence. Kat has temped as an executive assistant for more than 10 years and is therefore well adept at caring for people's most important private affairs. Kat also has a diploma in animal behavioural studies and has broken horses, trained dogs and worked with a lot of specialist issues beyond the standard of utmost tender loving care. We've both lived and worked with a variety of animals - including cats, dogs, horses, donkeys, rodents, reptiles, poultry, etc. - and do come with our own extremely calm, quiet and impeccably housetrained, 6-year-old dog Griff. Having each travelled extensively we have a spectrum of experience house sitting and labouring in odd jobs along the way. As such, not much surprises or over-stretches us. We'd be more than happy to take on projects at your property; we're strong, willing, handy with most DIY and enjoy gardening.
In our own time we love walking and cooking and we'll both be writing new books. We'll treasure your place as if it is our own and return it to you exactly as you left it, grateful for the time and space you have given us. In our hands, you'll be sure to have a worry-free time away.
We come with our own car.
