Our two story house, on an acre lot in the municipality of Chelsea, Quebec, is located in a semi-rural, hilly, area just north of Ottawa, a minute drive on a provincial highway. Central Chelsea is a small village with a spa, supermarket and hardware store, and some of the best restaurants and coffee shops in the Ottawa area.
The house has all modern amenties and appliances, including cable TV, wifi, dishwasher, and a working fireplace.
During the summer there are trails, swimming and a boat launch in the nearby Gatineau Park, a new rails-to-trails community trail a few minutes away, and a local golf club.
A car is essential and ours will be available.
We'd like a house sitter for aboutthree weeks in August. We have a loveable shih tzu dog would need the usual daily care. The small garden could use both watering and harvesting; the grass might need cutting (ride-on mower).
