Hi, I'm Madeleine
I'm a British EU passport holder with Australian permanent residency, taking an extended break from work as a Property Stylist.
I will provide security and peace of mind for you whilst you're away from home. I'm location independent which leaves me flexible and able to travel globally to watch over your pets and treasured possessions.
I'm 50(ish!), a non smoker, have no dependants or pets, as sadly my Spoodle, Larry and Burmese cat, Henry died recently from old age.
Why I want to house sit
Both of my son's (26 and 27) are living away and my empty home without pets, oh and sons(!) has prompted me to become a full time traveler.
As an animal lover, one thing I miss whilst traveling is the companionship they bring. I miss walks, playing and cuddling; most of all I want to provide them with the same love and attention you would give if you were there.
I want to make sure that whilst you're away, not only are your pets happy in an environment they're used to (rather than sad in a kennel) you're also able to relax in the knowledge that I'll care for your home as if it's my own.
I'm new to this site and happy to answer any questions you may have, feel free to contact me.
I'm a motivated, kind person and enjoy both walking and running, happily adapting my pace to suit your pets' energy level.
References and police check are provided.
Prior to house sitting I held positions as a Property Stylist, Manager of an airline first class lounge and Flight Attendant, all roles requiring attention to detail, perfect presentation and cleanliness: I have carried this ideal into how I look after my own home and swimming pool and the homes I watch over during sitting assignments.
My pets required special care in their latter years hence, I am adept at administering medication, eye and ear drops. I've been a pet owner for over thirty years including, a small land holding with chickens, geese, cats, fish, dogs and horses - although it's been a long time since I've ridden.
My most recent pet sitting characters:
Wally, the young, energetic Groodle (who snuck into my bed every night)
Bentley, the charming, mischievious Boston Terrier (who had socializing issues)
Bug, the enormous Bull Terrier (a big softie with a fear of water)
Puma, the beautiful black cat (who sucked the corner of his bed before sleeping)
I look forward to hearing from you.
