Hello!
I grew up on a sheep and crop farm in New Zealand which my parents still actively run. We had a very involved childhood so I have a varied skill set =) I have worked with many animals from this time (sheep, dogs - including training), horses, my special cat, chickens/ducks and all else that farm life involves!)
Most recently I returned to my homeland (New Zealand) for the summer months after spending 2 years travelling the Americas, Europe and United Kingdom during which my highlights were working for 3 months of the deep winter in the Arctic Cirle as part of a 3 person team that handled the sled dogs and horses for a luxury lodge and spending 6 weeks walking the Camino de Santiago.
I am friendly, confident, tidy, easy-going, mature Kiwi woman who decided enough was enough of the corporate world and began travelling out of a suitcase for nearly 25 months now and loving it.
I was an agricultural agronomist for 13 years and I also have a business offering Energy therapies to animals and people which is my passion. I also work on line in affiliate marketing.
I have worked in many varied roles as I've gone on in my travels .... from working in an Indian restaurant to managing a hostel in Mexico to hauling Xmas trees for wrapping in Canada to the my Arctic experience and have loved all of them =)
I have found I like to travel more slowly and not just tick the tourist boxes so offering to care of another's house and animal(s) is a way for me to fulfill this and allow you to be comfortable whilst you are away.
