We are looking for housesitters to look after our beautiful house and animals whilst we are on holiday in England. The house is our family home and is in a rural location about 25 minutes from Tauranga CBD and minutes from Papamoa beaches and shops.
You will have use of our lovely guest bedroom and your own bathroom. We have good wifi and a large, very well equipped kitchen if you like to cook. There is a large woodburner and plenty of wood to keep you warm too.
We have chickens, sheep and a much loved golden retriever called Teddy who will be 3. Teddy likes company, needs a long walk each day (around 5km) and is a house dog that needs to stick to the house rules!! The chickens need to be fed and watered twice daily and will hopefully reward you with lots of lovely eggs. The sheep are likely be lambing but generally take care of themselves. Some experience of this is an advantage but not essential.
We have a large garden including vegetable patches and paddocks. Some help in the garden would be much appreciated (but is not essential) and some jobs like lawn mowing will be required but this should be minimal.
Our perfect housesitters are trustworthy, respectful of the things we ask them to do (and not to do) and will be SUPER clean and tidy. This house sit would be perfect for a couple who enjoy the outdoors. You like your own space and peace and quiet whilst not being far from all that Tauranga, Mount Maunganui and Papamoa have to offer. We'd love to meet you if you think you'd make a good fit for us.
