Dear reader,
We are looking for a place to help or care for in France (preferably Auvergne - Dordogne, Lot/Garonne-region, Gers or south in Ariege/Midi-Pyrenees).
Why?
We are planning to move to France but would like to first experience what it is like to live in a country for a longer period of time. And how could that be better than living in a 'real' house? Even more so if we can help other people by caring for their animals and taking care of their house and garden.
Who we are?
Frank and Danielle, both around 50 years old. Sporty and adventurous. We enjoy nature and like to travel, within Europe and beyond. We have a dog and a cat, both from shelters and together big buddies. Frank likes to explore new areas while running and I explore new terrain via long-distance footpaths with Falcón, our dog. Vegetable gardening and cooking from our own garden is a hobby of both of us. Danielle joins weekly dogtraininglessons with our dog.
We work in the Netherlands for a municipality and in healthcare (administrative).
We are looking for a caretaker address in France or Spain from October ‘18, preferably for a longer period, uptill 3 months. We travel with our dog, 2 years old and very social with other dogs. Apart from dogschool he spend 2 days a week in a dogboard, with a variety of other dogs big and small.
Does anyone have a tip? Let us know!
Frank and Danielle
