We are looking for a housesitter for my 4 bedroom semidetached house with medium front and back gardens on the edge of a village with excellent shop and pub/restaurant. The Lake District is an area of outstanding natural beauty within the North West of England with lots of things to do.
Our 3 chickens are generally in a run but appreciate some supervised time in the garden. The coop needs cleaning every other day. That's straightforward because it's out of plastic. The food needs refilling every 3 days and you can eat daily the delicious fresh eggs. We also have a tortoise, which needs some dandelions or salad leaves and water once every day and occasionally the box needs a bit of a clean. She likes to have a wander and to be fed. But that's not a requirement.
