We are a “world-schooling” family of five embarking on extended and immersive international travel. Having recently become “petless” after wonderful decades with our own pets, we’re keen to care for and love on your fur babies (and fur “grown ups,”), while we travel and appreciate your hometown. We enjoy local sites, while remaining close to home to provide long walks and plenty of snuggles to your four- or other-legged family members that you trust to our care.
We conscientiously care for your pets, and lovingly keep them safe, stress-free and comfortable while you’re away. We also enjoy sending photos and providing as many (or as few—lest we distract from your travels) updates as you wish for. And we’ll happily take you to- or from the airport, then return you to a spotless home, so you may enjoy a well-deserved carefree and warm reunion with your pets.
We're meticulous with ensuring your pet's specific routine is kept and his or her individual needs are met. We diligently care for the home, keeping it tidy, clean and neat. We preserve your property with the utmost attention, respect and care. If there's ever a problem, we'll bring it straight to your attention, and we immediately attend to any emergency.
It’s an act of great faith to let a family care for your loved ones and your home; to us, it’s an honor and privilege to maintain your trust and satisfaction. As homeowners and landlords, we fully understand and uphold the responsibility of keeping the house, its contents and occupants safe and well.
Asaph is a licensed attorney, presently on sabbatical and Robin is a professional photographer, with a PhD in molecular pathology. We’re personable, friendly and completely responsive. Our world-traveling children, ages 10, 6 and 3 LOVE animals and provide gentle and wholehearted affection (our oldest son is even a “professional” neighborhood dog walker).
Our kids are very gentle with all animals, and would be very considerate of your home as well. They're born scientists with endlessness questions about life, the universe, and literally everything. Saul, 10, loves ecology and is presently fascinated by marine biology. He is currently a dog walker in our neighborhood, and loves all manner of water and outdoor sports. Indoors he enjoys getting lost in a great book, especially with a cat in his lap, and hours spent on online gaming and coding. Micah, 6, devours anything concerning space, the universe, and especially black holes. (Trying to find age appropriate books explaining quantum physics has been the best sort of challenge.) And Eliana, 3, loves music and art, and dogs and cats, and flowers and rainbows, and anything pink. None of them ever stops talking for long.
