My motto in life is, it's the journey not the destination that matters. I am 65 in calendar years but feel much younger in spirit and health, luckily.
I have relinguished my work and home responsibilities and my kids are grown and in Canada. I live full-time in Panama which I love but I need my kid fix now and then. Since I have found my own paradise I'd like to help others who want to visit new or familiar places. I can look after your home and pets with the care you yourself would provide.
I have always had dogs (usually rescues) and cats, and my own resident horses and llamas (no they didn't spit) for many years.
After years of not having a fur-baby in order to enable my travel, I now have a big, scruffy love for which I require a housesitter. Very recently I fostered a pregnant dog, she is now completing my own family. I believe in karma and I'm happy to take care of yours while someone takes care of mine!
I've lived in Canada and the US, in cities, small towns and in the country. I have also visited Costa Rica (extensive), Panama (legal permanent resident), Thailand, Ghana, Kenya and Ireland. I've spent many months in Cuba over the past 15 years.
I speak some Spanish and am learning more.
I love to find commonalities with people of diverse cultures and lifestyles. I am interested in people's stories of their life journey.
