I am a writer working on a book who subsidizes my income with freelance copy editing and such. I am very quiet and detailed. I am also very neat and tidy. I don't smoke or drink. I enjoy the quiet and time alone to focus. The longer term the house-sitting the more it allows me time to work on my writing projects and it also helps with income. (the house-sitting allows me to get by on my freelance work without a full time 9-5 type of job) I love animals and often times these opportunities come with some furry company. I have being house-sitting for over three years off and on. I have references and can provide them no problem. I have had places that are big and small, with pets and without, homes that need a lot of attention and those that need very little. I am a quick learner and treat every home with respect, as though it's my own.

I can follow instruction well and can also think on my feet to take care of any problems that may arise. I understand that somethings should be dealt with and some should be addressed with the homeowner. If you want someone that will care for your home and pets like they are their own than that's me. I have used house-sitters myself so I understand the amount of thought and caution that goes into picking the right person.
