I am looking for a person to house and pet sit from November 14 or 15, to November 21, 2018. I have (2) small dogs, they are rescue, and Shih Tzu breed. They are older in years, (Sophie is 12 years old, and Clooney is 11 years old) and are healthy, love their (2) walks everyday, and just love to be around me and most other humans. They are affectionate, and outgoing and love jsut sitting on the sofa next to me while I watch TV or do needle work.
My home is approximately 5 miles from downtown Bellingham, WA in the small community of Sudden Valley. I live in a condo with lovely views of Lake Whatcom and the 7th tee of the Sudden Valley golf course. There is a small park area on the condo premises where you can sit on the patio and enjoy the views. This is a great place to take the dogs out for short potty breaks. You can also take a short walk to the AM/PM beach area to pick up mail and to give the dogs a bit more of a distance walk. There is gated dog park near my condo where they love to go to socialize. This breed is not a high energy breed, but do need companionship.
I don't need much done around my condo, I just want someone to be respectful of my home, be tidy and feel comfortable. I do not want my dogs left alone for long extended periods of time. They are fine on their own in the condo for about 4 hours at a time. Bellingham is a wonderful place to explore, lovely parks, and outdoor spaces. I wouldn't mind if the pet sitter took advantage of doing the fun and interesting things in the area. However, I do not want my dogs in a car or left alone for long extended periods of time.
Sudden Valley is a safe and lovely community. My home is on the 2nd level of the building, 9 steps to the front door. I have 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and a beautiful open living area. My condo has a beautiful deck that overlooks the golf course and panoramic views of the mountains and Lake Whatcom.
