About Me
I am a digital entrepreneur who worked on several products in the tech and design sectors:
I have a passion for discovering the world and new cultures, and meeting new people. I also love to take care of pets, especially dogs! My job allows me to work remotely and so I've decided to start putting this opportunity to practice this year.
Why I Want to House Sit
I've been traveling across Europe, the US, Latin America, Africa, and Asia. I usually use paid accommodation but I figured the experience would be much more enriching this way. I would at the same time be able to give back in kind to the people hosting me by taking care of their home and pets. This would also reduce my accommodation costs and thus give me the chance to see more of the world!
One part of loving cultures is languages. I am fluent in English, French, and Arabic, as well as conversational in Italian and Portuguese. I further started learning German and Turkish and would love to stay in countries that speak any of those languages to be able to improve my language skills and learn new ones!
My Experience
I haven't tried housesitting before but I have often stayed at people's homes during my travels and I also host people at my home in Lebanon. Here are some reviews that were written by my hosts and guests:
Easily one of the coolest guests I’ve had. Polite, clean, and very down to earth. You’ll be happy you booked with him!

Wow, I can't say enough. What lovely human beings. I am looking forward to meeting up with them in their Country in the near future. They are welcomed in our home at any time and highly recommend them in yours.

Joey was a perfect host and made our stay extremely comfortable. He was always available and of great help. The apartment was very spacious and bright and perfect for our little family.

A place you can call "HOME" I only got to spend four days at this amazing place, and it was a really amazing experience. The place is up in the mountain away from the city it's the perfect escape and you don't have to worry about the heat and humidity, the place is equipped with almost everything, full kitchen and bar, washer, air-conditions in every room even the kitchen, fireplace and a projector in the bedroom not to mention the amazing view, finally the amazing host Joey and the rest of the amazing neighbors who did everything to make us feel at home, simply it's the perfect vacation house.
Chadi from Egypt
My month in Joey’s apartment was lovely. The communication with him was always perfect and helpful. In my next trip to Beirut, I’ll try to stay in his house again. It was a pleasure.

What Can I Bring to the Assignment?
My work happens online, on my laptop, so I will be spending most of my time at home, working. This would allow me to spend time at the house as well as with your pets. I have also spent a lot of time with dogs as we've raised a german shepherd and a rescue dog at home in addition to taking care of my sister's cat when I was staying at her place (during her own travels). Furthermore, we were able to create a pet-friendly environment at the office, where we all spend our break times now playing with the dogs! I've also always loved gardening (ever since I used to visit my grandparents' place in the mountains and help my grandfather with the garden), so if you have any plants or a garden, I would also love to care for them.
Note: I only have a Lebanese passport and so depending on your country, I probably need a visa to access it. At the moment I have active Schengen and US visas but depending on the dates I may have to apply for new ones.
