I (Callie) is a ex policeman and emergency first responder. Raised in a rural farm setting with passion for animals and old automobiles. Managed a few businesses as owner/manager. Know my way around a tool box having owned several houses during the past 20 years.
Abrie(wife) still active as entrepreneur and business person. Runs a wellness Centre in town with the daughter in law.
She is great in organizing and management of activities.
As a couple we are very involved in church as I am also an ordained priest within a congregation. We do not indulge in social/public drinking and dancing. We may have a beer on very warm day or a glass of red for the cold. We both are writing and Abrie also paint quite a bit.
We like doing things as a pair and like driving our 69 Triumph Spitfire when weather permit.
We love walking and also old architecture and history.
We have not recently looked after houses except our own but we have all the faith that we can do it with extinction.
My wife is also a brilliant cook with a cookbook that remains to be published.
We have four dogs that we care for in our home. A German Sheppard, one Jack Russel and two dachshunds.
We have travelled to Europe a few times and frequently visit our son and his family in Hamburg. We have a long standing longing to experience the British Isles and especially the rich old world charm and history that we can't find in our native South Africa.
