My husband, Bill, and I are both from the States, retired, and non-smoking animal lovers. In June 2013 we relocated to Costa Rica with our two cats and established residency. Having had pet sitters in 2018, we are quite knowledgeable about the owners’ side of the relationship. With all that, we would certainly treat your pets and residence as we would our own.
As a young woman, I taught in Venezuela and France for a total of five years. During that time I traveled extensively through Central and South America, Europe, and Kenya. In 1990, my then-to-be husband and I spent the summer visiting Europe. In the past several years, Bill and I have also traveled to Japan, Vietnam, Easter Island, Australia, and New Zealand as well as Central and South America.
We both grew up with pets and have been volunteers at a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation facility in Costa Rica for about a year-and-a-half. Years ago, Bill worked for the SPCA in New Jersey. Now that we no longer have pets of our own, we have loved sitting for people who prefer their pets to stay in the security and familiarity of their homes. So far we have truly enjoyed a dozen successful sits in the US, UK, France, and Australia through other platforms. Those reviews will be made available to you.
Currently we are based in West Virginia and are traveling by car to sits within the United States. We would be happy to to answer any questions and are available for interview via and Messenger as well as other platforms and by phone.
