For me, the most stressful part of traveling is finding someone to take care of my cats. Once, I needed to take an emergency trip while I had a sick cat on subcutaneous fluids and twice daily medication. I was lucky to have a friend who was a vet tech who was willing to stay, but every day I was worried about my Mailman (my cat's name).
I want to take the stress out of travel for you. I've been caring for cats professionally for eight years: as a cat sitter, caretaker at a no-kill cat shelter, and now as a vet tech. More than that, I understand cats. Each is an individual, just like people. Some are shy, some are friendly. Some take a while to warm up to you, while others are whacking at your feet the second you open the door (Bernie, I miss you).
I've got the ability to take a few weeks off to travel around the holidays and would like to visit Canada. I'm interested in seeing Toronto and Montreal, but am very flexible about the exact location and duration of my stay as long as I have the ability to visit both of those cities at least once. I'm looking forward to hearing from you! À bientôt!
